Privacy policy
Effective 2026-10-15. This policy covers baryreview.com, operated by Datarecovery.com, Inc., 110 N Research Dr, Edwardsville, IL 62025, USA. It is short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect:
- Your email address, so we can deliver the review and answer questions about it.
- The URL you submit.
- A snapshot of that page, fetched at the moment you pay. This is the copy the editor reads.
- The review itself: the editor’s notes and the email we send you.
- The payment status of the order (paid, delivered, refunded) and a reference from the payment processor.
- Your IP address and standard request details such as browser type and time, recorded in server logs.
Card details are entered on a payment form provided by Clover, our payment processor, and go directly to Clover. We never see or store your full card number.
If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
We do not create accounts for customers, do not ask for your name unless you give it, and do not collect anything from your site beyond the single page you submit.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the order: fetch the page, review it, and email you the result.
- To support the order: answer questions, process refunds, and find your order when you reply.
- To prevent abuse: spot repeated or automated submissions, fraud, and misuse of the service.
- To keep business records, including those we are required to keep for tax and payment purposes.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or anything unrelated to your order.
How long we keep it
Order details, the snapshot and the review are kept so we can support the order and keep our records. If you want them deleted sooner, reply to your order email and ask. We will delete the snapshot, the review and your email address from the order, keeping only the minimum payment record we are required to retain. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then discarded.
Who we share it with
- Clover, our payment processor, receives what it needs to charge your card and handle refunds.
- Our email delivery provider receives your email address and the content of the emails we send you.
- When an order is placed, our reviewer on duty gets an SMS alert. It contains only the order reference and the URL, not your email address.
- Our staff and editors see the order so they can review it.
That is the full list. We do not sell your data, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We will disclose data if the law requires us to, and we will tell you when we are allowed to.
Cookies
The public site does not set tracking cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our reviewers use a session cookie to stay logged in to the editing tools. If you are a customer, you will not get one. Standard server logs record visits to the site as described above.
Security
The site is served over TLS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. Order data is stored on servers we control, and access is limited to staff who need it to do the work. Payment forms are served by Clover and card data never passes through our servers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reply to your order email or use the contact page, and tell us the order reference or the email address you used. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not charge for it. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you additional rights, such as the EU, UK or California, those rights apply and we will honor them.
Children
baryreview is a business service for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we will delete the order.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
