Terms & refunds
Effective 2026-10-15. These are the terms for using baryreview. They are written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you order.
Who you are dealing with
baryreview is a product of Datarecovery.com, Inc., 110 N Research Dr, Edwardsville, IL 62025, USA. When you pay, the charge on your card statement reads DATARECOVERY.COM INC. “We”, “us” and “our” in these terms mean Datarecovery.com, Inc. “You” means the person or business placing the order.
The service
An order buys one human review of one public web page at the URL you submit. A professional editor reads the page and emails you a set of corrections: numbered instructions, each quoting the passage it refers to, written so that you can paste them into the AI tool that wrote the article.
The service is a review and nothing more. We do not rewrite your article, we do not publish or edit anything on your site, and we do not run AI detectors or alter text to pass them. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, conversions or any other outcome. What you do with the corrections is up to you.
Snapshot at payment
When your payment goes through, we fetch a copy of the page as it exists at that moment and the editor reviews that copy. Changes you make to the page after ordering are not part of the review. If the page cannot be fetched (it is private, behind a login, blocked, not a web page, or not reachable), we will contact you or refund the order.
Turnaround
Reviews are done by a person, in the order received. Most are delivered within one business day of payment. That is a typical time, not a promise. If we expect a delay beyond two business days, we will tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund at that point.
Refunds
- Full refund, no questions, any time before the review starts. Reply to your order email and ask.
- Full refund whenever we cannot complete the review, for any reason on our side.
- Once the review has been delivered to your email address, the service has been rendered and the charge is final.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually appear within a few business days, depending on your bank.
Card surcharge
Where shown, a small surcharge applies to credit card payments only. Debit and prepaid cards are not surcharged. The surcharge is itemized on the payment page before you pay and on your receipt. It is never more than our cost of accepting the card and never applied where the law does not allow it.
Acceptable use
By submitting a URL you confirm that you have the right to submit that content for review and to receive comments on it. You may not submit content that is illegal, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that you do not control. We may decline any order at our discretion, in which case we refund it in full.
Our content
A review is our editorial opinion about the page, based on what the editor read at the time. We work carefully, but we can be wrong, and we cannot check every claim against every source. Use the corrections with your own judgment and verify anything that matters to your business.
We are not lawyers, doctors, accountants or financial advisers. If a review flags a legal, medical or financial claim, it means an editor thought the claim needed checking by someone qualified. It is not advice in any of those fields.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability to you for anything arising from an order, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost rankings, even if we were told they were possible. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where that applies, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
Privacy
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is in our privacy policy. The short version: your email, the URL, a snapshot of the page and the review, kept to deliver and support the order. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored by us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top tells you which version applies. An order is governed by the terms in effect when you placed it. If we make a change that matters, we will post it on this page before it takes effect.
